Our Approach

Every project is unique. For this reason Four Oaks Geophysics personnel will need to talk with you to gain important information about your site. This information is typically the size or scope of your project, the objective for the geophysical investigation, information you need Four Oaks Geophysics to provide to satisfy you and your client (if applicable) and the budget of your project.

In most cases, Four Oaks Geophysics will recommend that multiple methods of testing be performed on your site. We understand that this will increase the price, but it will allow us to provide you with a more complete picture of the site. Whether it is coupling Frequency Domain Electromagnetics with Electrical Resistivity imaging for a karst survey or Ground Penetrating Radar with Time Domain Electromagnetics for a buried debris or underground storage tank survey. In most cases, one method will only provide limited data, but utilizing the second method will not only help to fill in the blanks of the first method, but will also clarify the site conditions.
